Hard lymph nodes neck (female 58kg 158cm non smoking no meds)
Hi, just want chat through my thoughts. For over 6 months I’ve had hard lymph nodes in my neck, symptoms alongside this - feeling sick, nausea, fatigued, I can feel the lymph nodes when I swallow talk sleep eat etc I keep getting these mini sicknesses. Anyways I ended up in the ER a few weeks ago they did a MRI on my neck and head and found one lymph node was 2.5cm and the left hand was large I can’t remember the size. The did a CT - (back story I have had over 30 surgeries for things relating to endo I have a stoma etc) so I wondered maybe if my lymph nodes were up because of that but the ER doc ran tests and said no wouldn’t be because of that. I went and saw a ENT yesterday he said I have muscle tension dysphonia (MTD) - as I have a bit of a croaky voice sometimes but I came out feeling a bit err. As the lymph nodes are really affecting the way I sleep eat my life. I just feel very off with them. They are hard are growing in size and he said I can come back in a few months but said to see a speech pathologist for the MTD. Spoken to a few people and they do agree with me and said they feel the lymph node issue was pushed to the side a bit. He said I was focusing too much on them. Which it’s hard not to as I can feel them all the time when I talk eat sleep etc. I’m going to my doctor today to talk about the appointment. I just feel as though it was a bit of an ignore the lymph nodes oh you have a croaky voice it’s this … but I don’t always have a croaky voice. And I’ve had hard lymph nodes for nearly 7 months I’ve felt constantly sick and very err for a long time.
