Were Illegal Plays Made in Top 4 Matches of DLC Seattle 2024?

Rules & Game Mechanics

Hello fellow illumineers,

With the Infinity Format DLC (Disney Lorcana Challenge) approaching next month, I have started reviewing gameplay footage from previous DLCs. I am looking to relearn interactions and abilities of older cards that are not currently legal for the Core Constructed format.

During my exploration of previous DLC footage, I noticed what appears to be an illegal play made in a streamed top 4 match from DLC Seattle:
The turn player, Luke Goodwin, has the following characters in play: Prince John - Greediest of All, Beast - Tragic Hero, Diablo - Devoted Herald (exerted), Morph - Space Goo, and Pete - Games Referee.

Luke exerts the Morph - Space Goo to sing Sudden Chill (6:44:05). His opponent, Logan Schneider, discards Maui - Hero to All when Sudden Chill resolves (6:44:07). Luke then draws two cards (6:44:08).

I understand that Prince John's ability, "I Sentence You" allows Luke to draw a card whenever the opponent discards 1 or more cards. I cannot figure out where the second card drawn comes from. It appears that the second card was drawn illegally. Am I missing something?
