My current sim story within my legacy family

I'm so overstimulated/excited about this idea I just had. Okay so to start, this is my 4th gen children, 3rd gen parents. I play without much creativity to be honest, I just really like having a big and complex family tree.

However, my 3rd gen Sims Petunia and Valentin Bloom have 2 babies. Saffron and her alien brother Sisyrinchium (Rink for short, idk why i like naming my sims after plants) due to val being abducted and impregnated by an alien named Nova.

I've been debating on a storyline for Nova's involvement in the Bloom family. I was kinda thinking about having her be a home wrecker because she happens to be in love with the human she abducted (Val) and in Val and Pet's milestone's theyre not in love despite being soulmates and married to one another. BUT. I've decided as of yet she's just super sad and really wishes she could be around her baby, but Val doesn't remember her. Should Pet and Val just amicably divorce ? Do I homewreck ? I love Pet so much I don't want anything to happen to her :/ so idk what to do.

As of yet, Nova visits Rink on his birthday every year without the Blooms knowing and she sings to him before leaving.
