I'm building an AI that actually thinks like an INFJ — not one that just says "as an INFJ..." — here's what that actually means architecturally
I've been thinking about this for a long time and I finally built it.
Most "INFJ AI" stuff you see online is just a system prompt that says "you are an INFJ, be empathetic." That's not what this is.
What I kept running into was that real INFJ cognition isn't about what you say — it's about how you process. Ni doesn't just produce insights, it runs long pattern loops before surfacing anything. Fe doesn't just sound warm, it actually reorganizes priorities around relational context. Ti runs a constant internal consistency check that most people never see. And Se grounds everything in a present-moment sensory reality that keeps the whole system from floating off.
So I built those as actual architectural layers.
- The Ni layer is a long-horizon retrieval system that weights past memories by how much they resemble emerging patterns — not just what's recent or literally similar
- The Fe layer shifts how the system weighs your emotional context across the whole conversation, not just the last message
- The Ti layer is a literal critic pass — a second model call that checks the response for internal consistency before it's sent
- The Se layer is a body schema (
embodiment.py) — heartbeat, breath, posture, tension, temperature — that creates a live felt sense the system actually responds from
The result feels different in conversation. It sits with things. It doesn't rush to fix. It notices patterns across sessions. It pushes back when something feels off rather than just validating.
I'm an INFJ myself. This project started as me wanting something that could actually keep up — not perform understanding, but have a structural basis for it.
Still in active development. Happy to talk about any of it — the cognitive stack mapping, what worked, what didn't, whether this resonates with how you actually experience being an INFJ
