I don’t like how corporate wuwa now feels and like it’s trying to appeal to such a wider audience.
this is just a rant from a random ass dude, feel free to ignore.

I want to say this first. Wuwa is better than ever as a video game right now and it’s doing great.
But ever since 3.0, wuwa has started feeling extremely corporate driven and like it wants to appeal to a wider audience and hasn’t really been doing what it used to with its characters.
In 2.X we had characters like Carlotta, Carte, Iuno, Cantarella, and Chisa technically too even if she was at the end. All very ML pushed characters that had such well made relationships with Rover and that made them so memorable and good. But the 3.X characters just haven’t felt that way to me (besides aemeath I suppose). Almost like Kuro has been afraid to do anything too romance centric for the characters and is playing it very safe and beating around the bush a lot. Even Chisa who’s one of my favourites, doesn’t get any screentime or moments with Rover really, it just feels shit and really disappointing since I primarily play gachas for the waifus. otherwise, i’d just go and play an actual game or even a JRPG if I wanted an anime game. Everything else in wuwa is a very nice bonus on top.
wuwa now has just started feeling to me like it had to play it safe and appeal to such a wider audience and that’s why they’ve been holding back on these things. I understand they want money and to expand the game to a bigger horizon but when you push it to such a wider audience, it never ends well when it comes to
the community and/or things you can put in the game because those types of people will whine. Which just to throw out there, I fucking despise the western community for wuwa, which isn’t surprising. It’s full of retards who think they are the target audience and unfortunately, it just feels like the new genshin community.
This is a very rushed and poorly put together post tbh, just wanted to rant about this rq and share this here to see what others might say.
