VTA Cottle Riders Parking Issue

Hi, does anyone at SJSU take the Cottle station to SJSU and had been having parking problems due to the construction workers who are parking in the designated commuter parking area? There is no more parking as they’re taking it all, and even if you go earlier there is still no parking. I have noticed (most-likely) commuters resorting to parking in the loading zones, handicap, and motorcycle parking, so I parked there for the time being because I needed to get to class, and I called to file a report, and the lady on the line said that if I got one I should call them back and they would take care of it. I got a citation and they said that they can’t solve the issue as it’s under the city who I’d have to appeal to. I’m getting a lot of mixed information and it’s really confusing to me. I’m was wondering if anyone has the same experience and how you’d go about this situation? In addition, do any riders want to report or have reported this problem yet?
