Asking for BYO novated lease advice

I'm fortunate enough to have access to choosing my own financier for my NL. As can be expected, the salary packager has no incentive to assist with the process and I find myself more or less on my own to navigate the process. I was able to get in touch with an admin person at the packager-end who forwarded a salary package form and a NL application form. From this forum (which has been a great help to get a starting the process), I have also applied for a NL loan from the CBA who offered 7.29 (+.25 now after Tuesday, thanks Michelle and the Board!).

Now to submit it, I need a dealer invoice with the details of my car. I ordered a Zeekr and with the stellar customer support that comes along with it at least here in Melbourne. I've been advised that they can't issue an invoice as they don't allocate VINs until after the vehicles have arrived at their yard. I feel that it's going to be too late by then to get the paperwork processed.

Are they talking bull or is there an alternative process to get the paperwork started in its way?
