How many of you have heard about this real life mu£der and s"@cide story?

So as the title suggests (and this Para is the TLDR;) this was back in July 2022. A \*\*man and three woman\*\* were found dead in an old defunct building in \*\*Kandivali\*\*. The story says that the man was in love with one of the three girls who were dead and killed the other two then marrying the last and committing suicide together. If this rings any bells for you then read along, if you don't, then you are in for an underrated mumbai murder thriller, with a version which a very few know. (Until now)

Too keep the anonymity of the person I heard this story from and safeguard his privacy, I will be narrating the incident from the start, but this version is from the cop who was actually present on the site when this incident happened, the media was not told the complete truth because the truth is very dark.

It was night time, a man comes running into the Kandivali Police station, starts screaming "unko bachao, unko bachao". The officer in charge of the police station at that hour asks the man what's wrong? He replied "uske haat me kulhadi hai! Vo unko maar dalega" the officers tried to calm him down, ask what was actually happening and give them the details. The man then told the cops that he saw a girl running towards the gate of an old building and a man followed her with a sickle in his hand, pulled the girl back inside and even threatened the man who saw, who then ran from the spot. The police soon left for the spot, reach the spot, and see the closed gate, they tired to break it with clenches.

They heard screams coming from the first floor, the police were already told that the man was armed, so they wait for backup, a while passes and they again hear screaming , the cops were contemplating that the man must have other company too, so they were waiting for the backup but the repeated screams made them break enter the building. In the pitch dark apartment the cops had one service pistol and a rifle for weapons. The silence in the room was loud, the cop made way to the first floor, found blood dripping down the stairs, on the first floor they found a body on the floor, with her head split open, blood everywhere, on the way to the second floor, there was a hand cut apart from the torso, the other body was above the stairs, with a hand missing, torso pierced with a sickle. On the second floor what they saw was horrifying, in a room there were ritual prepared, dolls and everything. Above that was 2 people hanging, one man and one girl, girl is dressed up in marriage attire, hands red and even her feet red. A suicide note was found, of 4 sheets of paper including the suicide note of the girl who was hanging.

This is where the story told takes a twist.

The note reveals continuous adulterous relationship of one of the woman , being the wife, and even one of the daughter got involved in such activities. This was known to the youngest daughter, who was 17. The girl then fell in love with the driver who was loyal to the husband. Very loyal indeed. When they both got into the relationship, the minor girl told the driver about everything, how they were selling themselves while her father wasn't around, who was staying in another city with a son, her brother.

The driver got furious and thought of doing right to his master. As they have been with them for generations. He then plotted to kill them both. He then wrote that as in his religion, it's apshagun for a unmarried girl to commit suicide, otherwise her soul will wander, without travelling to the afterlife. Hence they got married and then hung themselves. The girls letter also mentioned the same, and penned a note for her father.

When I heard this story today I was completely shocked, this happened so near to me and I had no idea that this was the real lore behind the murders.

Also to think that something like this can happen within the matter of minutes!! The cops had already broken into the building, waited like 5 mins for backup before deciding to storm the place without one. Only to enter the premises and find the gruel some sight. I always thought crime patrol might be exaggerating the stories, but after today, I have no doubt that this could actually happen, such stories are true.
