Just sayin'

On April 14th, Matt hit 10K hours in a video game that he has repeatedly, and publicly, blamed for his mental health issues. He has used these crises as a way to extort his community for attention and money while never actually showing any signs of seeking help or guidance for his "addiction".

I only bring this all up because Matt is having a marathon session today; we all know he's been racking up offline hours because he plays every day, but today is extra special because he's been going all day and still is as I type.

After the drama he faced after his subathon, he posted about "reevaluating his relationship with gaming and streaming" and stopped streaming but when called out for playing offline his excuse was that he was just taking advantage of the Blood Moon event. Except even after that was over he didn't stop playing. He's never stopped playing.

So for all the cult members that talk about Matt not streaming like it's a "good decision", and they "want him to take care of himself", keep in mind that he is still playing just as much as he ever was, if not more; he just doesn't go live.

He doesn't miss hanging out with you.

He doesn't plan on seeking help for his "addiction".

He hates streaming and wouldn't do it if there wasn't money to be had. I follow so many channels where it isn't about the money but just the experience and the chat. Some people will never make money doing it but keep going anyway. Matt on the other hand gets pissy if he's not getting enough. For a guy that loves to remind everyone about his new love of Jesus, he sure hasn't gotten to the part about being humble and having humility.

He doesn't see you all as anything other than dollar signs. When the subathon money runs out and he sees his bills coming in, you can guarantee he'll be back again, ready to shame and manipulate all of you out of your cash.

Don't expect him to follow through with the subathon goals either. When (if) he comes back, he'll have an excuse ready to go as to why he won't do them. All that money and all those subs just to have him drop out of sight and tell all of you to go F off. I hope you asked for refunds or hit him with a chargeback.
