River Cafe - Day of coordinator

Hi everyone! This sub has been super helpful for planning so far so thank you all! We are getting married at the River Cafe this fall and are on the fence about whether to hire a day of coordinator. We heard the venue provides a day of coordinator and have heard great things, but wanted to hear others experiences on if they thought it was worth it to bring in an outside day of coordinator. Some areas we were a bit unsure of:

- Cueing the ceremony. A family member will be our officiant and we want to make sure everything starts and runs smoothly
- Cueing reception events such as speeches, first dance etc
- Setting up decor, and packing everything up at the end of the night

We have only attended a few weddings ourselves and definitely want to make sure we aren’t missing anything and that the day runs smoothly. We would love to hear other River Cafe couples thoughts on if they found an outside day of coordinator helpful/necessary. Really appreciate the help!!
