Alternate positions/uses for Solawave Pro?

Got the newer Solawave Pro mask (320 LEDs and four light wavelengths: amber, red, deep red, NIR). Been using it for a few weeks but noticed there are no lights over the upper lip area which is a key concern for me. Without buying their wand or something similar do you think it would work to do an extra session and just hold another part of the mask over that area? Same question if you think I could use it that way over the top of my forehead where I have some male pattern hair loss? TIA!
