Will an extra egg cause a problem in a vanilla cake recipe?

I just made cupcakes and halved a recipe that calls for 3 eggs. I’ve used the recipe many times and usually do 2 eggs for half of a recipe and get great reviews, but this time I accidentally used 3. I can’t taste them due to an allergy of mine (making these for someone else), should I remake them or should they be fine?
