How you guys doing?

I'm sitting here on my 2nd day of rest after a rather brutal week of returning to work and some logistical catchup at work/warehouse causing an influx of products that needed to be processed and I'm thinking how shitty the economy is but I should be glad that I'm employed; paid poorly but employed nonetheless. I mean a lot of industries are affected and people are jobless and I'm in an industry that might not be affected by automation or be at risk of being replaced by someone from India though I might eat my words on that.

Just feels like it's not doing any good to worry about stuff out of my control, you know? We'll cross that bridge when the time comes.

Management had trouble finding people covering because who wants to work nights for a small increase in pay?

Yeah, somewhat of a mixed bag of a day/ morning, reading bad news about economy and wondering where the day went yesterday when I spent most of it in bed recovery sleep and now it's another day of nothing burger.
