18mtf - already pass really well and live full time feminine, but want to take it to the next level with HRT. Advice?

Advice Question

Hey everyone,
I’m an 18 year old trans woman who’s been living full time as a girl for about a year now. I socially transitioned pretty early and I’ve been lucky — I pass really well most of the time (people rarely clock me anymore, even without makeup). I’ve always been naturally feminine in my mannerisms, voice (I trained it a lot), style, and presentation. Friends and family have been supportive for the most part.
Even though I’m doing okay, I feel like I could be so much more comfortable in my body and “finish” my transition if that makes sense. I want softer skin, better fat distribution (especially hips, butt, thighs), breast development, and just that overall feminine glow that HRT seems to give a lot of girls. I’m not dysphoric about my height or shoulders anymore since I pass, but I still want the physical changes to feel more “right.”
I’m finally in a position where I can start HRT (I have a supportive therapist and I’m about to get a referral to an informed consent clinic).
A few questions for those who started around my age or later:
• How noticeable were the changes in the first 6-12 months?
• Did you feel like it helped you pass even better or was it more about feeling better internally?
• Any tips for someone who already presents very feminine? Should I expect people to notice the changes?
• What’s the best way to start (dosages, patches/gels/injections, anti-androgens, etc.)?
• Any regrets or things you wish you knew?
I’m super excited but also a little nervous about permanent changes and fertility stuff. Any advice or experiences would mean the world. Thanks girls 💕
