Looking for suggestions on cloud migrations from devs actually doing this in production

Hey everyone,

I'm a final year CS undergrad based in India. Job hunting, trying to build something of my own and finding freelance projects to work on.

I'm deep into AI engineering and cloud computing stack. Building agentic systems, LLM pipelines, cloud infra that's where I spend most of my time.

Since my 3rd year I've been going deep into AWS and cloud architecture, and recently I've been studying how cloud migrations actually work like the 7r's - lift and shift, re-platforming, re-architecting, etc.

I am studying and learning more about how cloud migrations is planned and how businesses migrate their businesses to the cloud in production. Since there is a lot of theoretical knowledge, I am lacking guidance and suggestions from devs who are actually handling cloud migrations.

It would be a real help if you can guide me and give me some suggestions about cloud migrations and how things work in actual production. Like how teams handels roll backs, how architecture is planned, compliances, etc.
