Is flying back to the US 10 days after a deep plane facelift a terrible idea?
I’ve been researching facelifts for a long time now and I finally feel ready to actually move forward with booking one. I’m 47, based in the US and pretty set on getting a deep plane facelift in Korea. My biggest issue is jowling and heaviness in the lower face/jaw area, and after reading a ton about it, I feel pretty confident that deep plane makes more sense for me than SMAS at this point.
The thing I’m struggling with is timing. I’m currently looking into VIP PS in Jeju but because it’s jeju I’d need a domestic flight before even starting the long flight back to the US. Originally I thought staying around 10 days total might work but now I’m wondering if that’s way too optimistic for a major surgery like this.
I’m not really worried about looking swollen or bruised in public. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m not trying to rush back into meetings or anything but my bigger concern is whether sitting on a 14 hour flight only 10 days after surgery is actually miserable or unsafe.
I’ve also seen people mention blood clot risks after surgery + long haul flights and now I’m overthinking everything a little. Is 10 days generally considered too early for that kind of travel after a deep plane facelift?
