Hey r/SideProject,

I’ve been building my own tools for a while, and one of my biggest frustrations was how fragmented crypto data is. To get a full picture, I was jumping between Twitter, Arkham, TradingView, and news sites—or paying thousands for institutional terminals.

So, I built **AlphaSignal** ([https://alphasignal.digital](https://alphasignal.digital/)).

**What it is:** It’s an institutional intelligence terminal for crypto and macro markets. It’s designed to be a "command center" that synthesizes on-chain movements and market data into a single tactical stream.

**Core Features I’ve built so far:**

* **🛰️ Intelligence Briefing:** A live stream that synthesizes on-chain momentum and ML-based alpha predictions.
* **🏊 Whale Surveillance:** A granular tool for tracking institutional order flow and "Whale" wallet movements.
* **🤖 AI Analyst:** You can actually "ask" the terminal to explain a specific chart or narrative in plain English.
* **📊 Risk Engine:** Live tracking of VaR, Portfolio Beta, and a 15x15 rolling correlation matrix.

**The Tech Stack:**

* **Backend:** Python (Custom threaded server, no heavy frameworks).
* **Real-time:** Custom WebSocket server for live price & Binance orderbook streams.
* **Database:** Hybrid setup with SQLite for local caching and Supabase for cloud persistence.
* **Frontend:** Vanilla JS/CSS (I wanted it to feel like a high-density pro terminal, not a generic template).

**I’d love your feedback on:**

1. **Information Density:** Is it too overwhelming, or does it hit that "pro" sweet spot?
2. **The AI Analyst:** If you try it, does the output actually feel actionable to you?
3. **Features:** What’s the one "missing" metric that would make you use a terminal like this daily?

I'm around to answer any questions about the tech or the build!

I built a "Bloomberg-Lite" for crypto because I was tired of jumping between 10 tabs for research. Meet AlphaSignal.
