Breast growth: bad dose, bad genes or bad luck?
I (MtF 30) have a problem with my breast growth after being 3 years on HRT. A bit of backstory, I've always been overweight, so I went into HRT with already small 'moobs' (or gynecomastia, I guess).
They were too large for a size A, so at the start of my transition I bought a size B bra. Obviously it was a tad too large back then, but even now, 3 years later, I still can't fill it out without padding. It seems like there hasn't been any real breast growth that couldn't be attributed to simply being overweight. I also never got any chest pain or sore nipples or anything else other trans women mention.
My current suspicion is that my doctor is under-dosing me. Currently I use:
Gynokadin (estrogen gel), 0.6mg/g Estradiol
-> 3 pumps every morning
Cyproterone acetate beta, 50mg (t-blocker)
-> 25 mg once every week
At our next meeting in 3 months I'm also going to ask for a prescription of Progesterone.
I don't have the results of the last blood test yet (working on it), but can anyone let me know the appropriate hormone levels for trans women so I can check?
Other than that, could it be that they simply grow super slowly? (And maybe, possibly have a sort of 'growth spurt' down the line?)
Or did I just lose the genetic lottery again and this level of growth is all I can expect?
