Switched from Shiprocket to Shipmozo 6 months ago — here's what nobody tells you

Supplier

Been running a D2C brand for 3 years. Used Shiprocket for a long time, tried Pickrr briefly, and finally landed on Shipmozo. Six months in — and honestly, I wish I'd switched sooner.

Here's my honest breakdown for anyone sitting on the fence 👇

TL;DR: Shipmozo gave us lower rates, zero surprise billing, and an account manager who actually responds. Our RTO dropped by ~18% in 3 months.

❌ The Shiprocket problem nobody talks about
Weight discrepancy disputes are a nightmare. You ship a 500g packet, they bill you for 1kg, you raise a ticket, and it disappears into a void. Their courier network is wide, yes — but "wide" doesn't mean "reliable." COD remittance delays were our biggest pain point.

❌ Pickrr — good tech, uncertain future
Post the Shiprocket acquisition, things got murky. The API was solid but support started feeling like an afterthought. Didn't feel like a platform investing in its own growth anymore.

The thing that surprised me most
Shipmozo's NDR (non-delivery) management is genuinely different. They follow up on failed deliveries aggressively — which is something the bigger platforms treat as a low-priority automation. For us, that single feature reduced RTO losses significantly.

Also — and I can't stress this enough — having a dedicated account manager who actually responds on WhatsApp within the hour is worth more than any feature on a dashboard.

Who should switch to Shipmozo?
→ Sellers doing 50–2000 orders/month who want personal attention
→ Anyone frustrated with surprise weight charges
→ Brands where COD is a significant chunk of revenue
→ D2C founders tired of raising tickets into the void

Not saying it's perfect. Pan-India coverage is slightly thinner than Shiprocket at the extreme edges. But for 95% of serviceable pincodes, you won't notice a difference.
