Currently reading Sunrise on the Reaping

I’m finally onto Haymitchs games after finishing the original trilogy that I never finished from childhood (I’m 19 lol and we read the first Hunger Games in middle school), I absolutely loved ballad of songbirds and snakes, but I do think catching fire still holds as my favorite book and movie so far. Holding Sunrise on the Reaping changes that!

But I’m on chapter 16 in SOTR and I wanted to say that I think i genuinely have cried or at least shed a tear reading every single chapter. This book is so GUT WRENCHING but amazing. I’m so so glad I read all the other books before this one, I highly recommend you do too if you haven’t! All the “Easter eggs” and connections are either cool, heart breaking, or surprising. I LOVE THIS BOOK but damn it’s SO SAD!
