What entry work can I get into as a lone parent with no support?

I have gotten a few work opportunities, just to be unable to do due to not having enough availability. I have the normal 9 to 5 availability, but entry positions seem to want hours out of that.

I have been trying for entry finance area, but apparently what they ask for and what they really seek is different. I need another 6 to 12 months to train but I can't wait that long.

I have also been recommended to get into school settings, but they seem to have higher restrctions. I am a foreigner with no uk work references. So it has been harder to even be get called for an interview. At this point, im tempted to just lie.

I have gotten a few job offers when I lied about my availability, which I did just to a few just to see if I was crazy on never getting offers. Which, yes, while full availability, I got way more interviews and job opportunities.

Any advice here?
