In a little while, we’re going to press the release button for Dread Neighbor

Devlog

It’s a strange feeling.

For a long time, this game only existed as late-night bug fixes, messy notebooks, build folders with terrible names, and that constant thought of “it’s not ready yet.” Now suddenly we’re at the point where it has to leave our hands.

I don’t think indie launches feel dramatic from the inside. Mostly it’s just refreshing pages, checking if anything broke, and quietly hoping the thing you spent so long making finds its way to someone.

Whatever happens after release, I think this moment will stay with us — that weird few minutes before clicking the button, when the game is still only ours.

Anyway. Just wanted to share that feeling with people who probably understand it.

We’re about to hit publish.
