Advice for recording

Hello, I record music for almost 10 years now and I moatly did digitaly, I have a bit of experience with the toshiba pt-862, but I now have to repair it. Has its an entry level product and I really enjoyed my analog recording experience I am thinking about an upgrade.

I see a lot of brqnds and models and price accordingly to the conditions of the decks, so I find it hard to make my mind on the best deck I can get.

What are the best reel to reel under 500$ ? Is it worth it to go up 500$ ?

Context: i have mutiple musical project, i mostly run my recording through a zoom lr20 before outputing it into the reel.
