Hey everyone,

I’ve been building Myne, a "GenUI" engine that lets you re-engineer any website into a distraction-free workspace.

For the last 11 days, the Chrome Web Store dashboard was stuck at 19 installs (classic Google data lag). I decided to stop checking the stats and just focus on hardening the production infrastructure (moved to a hybrid storage model and live Paystack rails).

The Result: The dashboard finally thawed out today and we jumped from 29 to 34 installs in a single day.

What’s working (so far):

Outcome over Tech: I stopped pitching "Generative UI" and started pitching "Focus Mode for Deep Work." The conversion rate on my landing page jumped immediately.

Building in Public: Sharing the "boring" parts of the build (like the Paystack integration and the CSS persistence bugs) on LinkedIn/X built a "Founding Member" cohort that actually cares about the roadmap.

Nairobi Context: Being based in Kenya, I’m building for a global audience with a local-first mindset on stability and offline-capability.

The Tech:

Plasmo + React for the extension framework.

Firebase for Auth/Metadata.

cPanel for heavy file storage.

The Goal: 1,000 installs. We’re currently at 34/1000.

I'd love to get some eyes from this community. If you’re into "Digital Agency" or just want to strip the clutter off your daily-use sites, I’d love your feedback on the v1.0.2 build.

I'm hanging out in the comments—happy to answer any technical questions about the Plasmo stack or the Paystack integration!

My Chrome extension jumped 17% in 24 hours while the dashboard was "frozen." Here’s what I learned about launching from Nairobi.
