As a female, I don’t owe it to other females to give them preferential treatment.

I am so sick of females telling me “girls need to stick together” or acting like we are friends just because we are the only females in the group. I just want to be a decent human being to everyone, regardless of their gender.

Sure, if I see someone spiked a lady’s drink, I’ll tell her. Not because she’s another female, but because it’s the right thing to do. If she and I are the only females at work in a team of dudes, that doesn’t make us friends. I’m open to being friends with her but not just because she’s the only other girl here, but who she is. I don’t owe it to another lady to always have her side in an argument with a male. I don’t sympathise with postpartum depression more than other forms of depression. All forms of depression sucks, you all have my sympathy, but that doesn’t justify anyone being a total dick.
