Miele vs Fisher Paykel vs Wolf (36" all-gas ranges) opinions & recommendations

General Advice

Hi all,

Looking for a 36" all-gas range in Canada. Interested in hearing opinions and advice.

We definitely prefer a model that has mostly basic, quality functions, looks great, and doesn't have a lot of extra bells and whistles (not a big fan of digital panels and settings). The less that can break down the better. Ease with service and parts would be nice as well.

Models under $10,000 Canadian will take priority. At the moment the Fisher Paykel classic series 7 is catching our eye due to performance, price and reputation but still in research mode. Wolf gr366 is a range we like but not love and it's expensive (wondering if Miele is even worth discussing or comparing to the GR366 in that price category).

We don't have room on our panel to go with dual fuel or pure electric so id appreciate responses that focus on gas.

Which brands are making a beautiful, reliable and cost effective (meaning long life and not overdoing it) 36" all gas range for home use?

I'd love some opinions and thoughts on it.
