Flight attendant turned project manager, what options?

Posting on behalf of my wife (she doesn't have an account):

Hello all, I have currently been a flight attendant for almost 13 years. I am planning on leaving this year because the industry has changed so much and I am quite unhappy. It does have its pros but overall is a very unstable career.

Anyways, my husband is a programmer. He has been a programmer for over 10 years, and most days would say he truly enjoys his job, and has a passion for it. With my departure from flying I am planning and thinking on what I want to do next. I would like to branch into the tech field, as I feel this would be a more stable career, with a lot of room for growth, and opportunities.

I have an associate's degree in accounting that I received a few years ago. Mulling it other with my husband last night, he told me he think I would be very good if I became a project manager, focusing on getting a certificate. I've seen a few 6 month programs that seem very doable. I want to get an honest insight into what I can do, because I do not want to become a coder at all, lol. Project management does seem to be a good career path, and I feel a lot of my flight attendant skills can transfer over. I oversee entire crews alone for our flights, would say my communication skills and listening skills are excellent, and don't mind speaking with people. In fact, I'd say my public speaking and attention to detail is also excellent, as well. The only thing I do struggle with is confrontation, but maybe this is something I can work on with regard to being a project manager.

Bottom line, I'd like ideas on what I could look into and do regarding something with tech without being a programmer. Thank you so much for reading, and any advice you can give.

Edit: I would like to clarify while I do have my accounting degree, I did not "love" accounting as a whole and would rather use that as a stepping stone than take accounting as a career path fully. Thanks.
