WELL WELL WELL
Liverpool has had a roller-coaster of a season haven't they?

Well, if I were Richard Hughes, this is what I would be doing in the summer transfer market:

1. Sign a CB: IDC, Liverpool need a centre-back. Sure we are getting Jacquet in the summer, but he is not enough. VVD has fallen off, Konate's contract situation hasn't been solved, Amara Nallo is inexperienced, and Joe Gomez is always injured. According to me, they need to get a CB. But again, this depends on what Konate does. What I Mean Is:
\- If Konate leaves, buy 2 centrebacks; my choices are Van De Ven and Schlotterbeck/Ezri Konza and Alessandro Bastoni.
\-If Konate doesn't leave, still buy 2 centrebacks; my choices are Van De Ven and Schlotterbeck/Ezri Konza and Alessandro Bastoni.
2. Sign a RW: Unfortunately, our legend, Mohamed Salah is leaving Liverpool, so, we need a RW. I would have definitely gone for Semenyo for the PL experience, but, he signed for City. Micheal Olise is the dream option; but, would it be economically feasible?
Yet again, there are rumors of Chiesa leaving Liverpool, so yet again, we must buy 2 right wingers; one to replace Salah, and one to replace Chiesa (if he leaves.)
\-If Chiesa doesn't leave: Olise, Jarred Bowen, Takefusa Kubo or BRadley Barcola.
\-If Chiesa does leave: Olise, Jarred Bowen/Takefusa Kubo/Bradley Barcola
According to me, if Olise is too expensive; then we must sign either Jarred Bowen or Takefusa Kubo. (Let me remind, Kubo has been on the radar for quite some time.)
3. Sell Cody Gakpo and sign a replacement LW: Honestly, Cody Gakpo is just not it. Many people believed that after the sale of Luis Diaz, Gakpo would shine. But, unfortunately, that is not the case. Cody Gakpo has been utter dissappointing. Rio Ngumoha is definitely there long term, but again, we do need cover. We must sell Cody Gakpo and buy a competent LW.
My pick for LW: Iliman Ndiaye (for PL experience), Bradley Barcola Rafael Leao (consistent for a few years, has been on the radar of multiple clubs for some time already.)
4. Sign a striker on loan with buy option: Now, Hugo Ekitike is ruled out due to injury for 9-10 months; meanwhile Isak is currently unfit and inconsistent. We need a striker on loan, mainly because Ekitike is sure to return straight back into the lineup once he has fully recovered; but till then, there is not depth in the striker position with Isak being the only option.
My pick for ST: Endrick/Gonzalo Garcia/Deniz Undav.
5. Sign a LB: Andrew Robertson is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. Miloz Kerkez is seen as the starting LB, but again, we need depth. Even if Kostas Tsimikas comes back to Liverpool from his loan spell, it is unlikely that he will remian in the Liverpool squad.
My pick for LB: Andrea Cambiaso/ David Raum.
6. Figure out the situation for Arne Slot: Many Liverpool fans have been calling for Arne Slot to resign; while at the same time, rumors are floating that Xabi Alonso has set his sights on the the managerial position of Arne Slot in case he gets sacked.
There are two sides of the coin:
\-On one side, Arne Slot has had a lot of investment into the squad, and it pretty much is his first season operating with "The Arne Slot Liverpool Squad".
\-On the other hand, Arne Slot has been unable to cultivate results from this squad, crashing out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup early; meanwhile slipping to 4th in the Premier League, meanwhile being eliminated by PSG in the UCL Quarter-final.

Whatever decision Richard Hughes wants to take, he must take each and every decision with sense and full faith.
This is my assesment Liverpool fans; give your opinion.
YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE.
