Can my dad get treated in the hospital?

My dad is an illegal immigrant. Yesterday, he told me that something was hurting and he told me what it was, but I didn't understand since I'm kinda bad at Spanish. I asked him if he was going to be okay, and he shrugged. Which now I'm getting really worried that he's not going to be.
