Been bleeding since surgery 5 weeks ago

Other than a 4 day break. I also had a Mirena inserted while I was under. Is this normal? I had post op bleeding, a full blown period, the 4 day break, and now a full blown period again that was early. The cramping has definitely been somewhat milder, but the bleeding has been a bit heavier than before. At what point do I need to contact my gyno?
