Do you increase strength if you're heavy?

Hello, I'm a 5'11'' 23m at 91-94kg. When my muscles aren't tired, I can do 30-40 clean push ups, 20 clean dips, and 8-10 pull ups. The last 3 years, I've been training calisthenics, admittedly not consistently, however, the last month I'd train 5 days a week, with weights as well (only 6kg at the moment). I have mainly focused on pull ups since they are so much weaker than my push strength. My pull ups have gone up by about 2 reps since then.

My question is, is it viable to keep my weight where it is or do I have to cut? I don't actually have a problem with my weight; the fat is distributed quite evenly across my body, it's just my strength I care about. How I see it is that the extra weight would be a nice resistance for the exercises but would reducing my weight be more efficient for strength gainz?

Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I can elaborate in replies.

Kind regards,
