Voice Writing Student

I am a voice writing student located in New England and am nearing the end of my classes. I have a few questions if anyone could help me with them.

1. NRVA Testing - I am under the impression that you need to be certified within a year of starting working. Is this true? I’m trying to hold off on taking the test because they’re all so far from me.

2. I’m looking to work fully remote, would that allow me to work in more states? I know some states you need to be a notary, but I’m not sure if that’s all of them.

3. How do you find agencies to work for? Usually when I search for jobs, the only postings that I see are for big box agencies and for digital reporters.

I think I’m mainly nervous about finding employment. I appreciate anyone who can help me with these questions.
