Car alarms

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in the frequency of car alarms going off? Maybe im just slowly losing it but the last several months I’ve noticed that on my block and surrounding ones, every day multiple times a day there are different cars all with their alarms going off.

Some are shut off quickly, while others just keep going the entire day.

And yeah I know, this is a city and the city makes noise. But I’ve just never noticed this many alarms going off. An economic issue possibly? People are struggling and cars can be expensive so cars that should be looked at for issues just aren’t.

I don’t know. Curious if anyone else has noticed 🤷‍♂️
