Is this abuse?
So I'm going to graduate high school this year and I feel like my parents' prisoner. I want to get a job in IT, and I have certifications like CSST and Comptia A+ since I'm a BOCES kid, but my parents insist I go to RCC. While I have certs, I have essentially nothing else, I have no legal papers/ID's, no drivers license/permit, no means of transportation, no form of money/banking, and no friends. They want me to essentially do work and college, but I have no fucking clue where to look for jobs or anything, and sometimes, my parents take my phone away for literally no reason- how would I even work with no reliable phone/internet access? Anyways, it's hard to get a job at 17, especially an adult one like junior IT. Another thing, they treat me like a child, they constantly remind me to do things I can remember to do on my own, like sleeping/bathing. They even knock on the bathroom door to tell me I'm using too much water, even if it's only been a minute- it's like I can't even be safe/alone even in the bathroom. They also used bridges (the autism support thing) to essentially have me work in what was supposed to be a paid internship, but they took the money and I never even saw a penny or even know where it went, it's like the money never even existed, and I don't know if they're going to even give it to me once I turn 18. I have no fucking clue where it is. Is this financial abuse/exploitation? Anyways, they also constantly nag me about homework. Even if I'm not missing any assignments, they nag me about any assignments that aren't completed but also not due, and even if I get everything done, they can still bother me simply by claiming it's impossible I could have gotten everything done. I honestly don't think my dad has ever walked past me without nagging me over something.
