Upgrading to 5800X3D Process
I'm getting my new cooler in today and will be upgrading my CPU from a 3700X to a 5800X3D. I've already updated my BIOS to support the new CPU and I feel good about physically installing but while I was looking around at some guides I saw some things about how you can be missing out on the chips full power (like not using the 3D v-cache) by not doing certain things. One said to reset the CMOS when you put it in for example.
Anything that involves settings once everything is installed I can figure out later but is there anything I need to do during install that I should take care of while I have the PC open?
