Books where the MMC and FMC where their friends/family plays matchmaker for them which actually helped them be together eventually. Like without the supporting cast they would not be together. Like MCs are too stubborn or cowardly or easily misunderstood without their help on their lives.

I REALLY enjoyed the aspect of {Those Three Little Words by Meghan Quinn} and { He's Not My Type by Meghan Quinn} which are part of the Vancouver Agitators series where basically their friends and family are kinda helping them the MMC and FMC get together behind their backs or upfront and it was very fun to read about. Like absolutely FMC and MMC in both books would not be together if not for them.

Like for example on those two books basically i'm fairly certain the MMC and FMC would have never been together without the friends and family "helping" or just interfering which lead to them getting closer and getting together.

The friends/family definitely have to be like close to them for this to work.
