BG2.0 Slide w/Safety on Frame w/o Safety?

I have a Bodyguard 2.0 slide with the manual safety. Will it function on a BG2.0 frame that has no safety?

Just curious if slide and frames are incompatible. Anyone tried this or a gunsmith know how the two versions fit together?
