My experience working with Greg Wientjes

Self-Story

I wanted to share my personal experience working with Greg Wientjes of Supost and Capmus Inc. to help other freelancers and VAs make an informed decision before signing on. Based on my time there, I encountered several practices that I found highly concerning:

✅Extensive Monitoring: There was a requirement for constant 8-hour surveillance while working. I personally found this level of digital monitoring to be invasive and difficult to work under.

✅Compensation Standards: The rate offered to me was $1.50/hr, which I feel does not reflect a livable wage or fair compensation for specialized skills in this industry.

✅ Blurred Professional Boundaries: I was frequently asked to perform personal tasks and work on holidays without what I consider to be adequate additional compensation.

✅ Scope Creep: Despite having a signed agreement, I found that my actual tasks often deviated significantly from my agreed-upon role, with little regard for the original contract terms.

✅ Communication Style: In my interactions, I felt there was a lack of openness to feedback or professional collaboration. I found it difficult to suggest improvements or voice concerns without them being dismissed.

Based on these points, I personally would not recommend this client to those seeking a collaborative, professional, and well-compensated environment. If you value autonomy and clear boundaries, you may want to look elsewhere.
