how would parents refer to their child's spouse?
sorry if this is a repeat question but i couldn't find it on the sub.
how would either a mother or father refer to their child's spouse? like would they use an honourific (which one?) or a set phrase, or just the name?
specifically the couple are two women with a roughly 5 year age gap (the child is the older one), does that change how the spouse is referred to? is there a difference between a form for casually teasing them vs. serious conversations? does it change with emotional distance (for example the couple being close to the parents vs a strained relationship ect?)
thats a lot of questions sorry, thank you in advance!
