Signatures in China...
Is it normal that they always refuse my actual signature because "it's hard to read" (my signature is in cursive writing)? It seems they just want me to write my name in capital / block letters that are easy to read (which is in fact not my signature and much easier for anyone to reproduce...).
I know that's how they do it in China but it always feels weird to "sign" that way since it's not my actual signature. I sometimes try to push back and show the signature in my passport but they don't seem to care at all and just ask me to write easy to read letters. My most recent experiences with this were at ICBC and China Mobile.
Am I crazy for getting annoyed by that 😂
