I built a tool because I couldn't stop doing something stupid. Cleaning Lead Lists By HAND!!!
Every week I opened the same CSV and felt the same thing. Not frustration exactly. More like recognition. Like seeing a bad habit in the mirror.
The list came from Apollo. It always came from Apollo. And it was always a disaster.
"sarah johnson." "BRIAN'S SEPTIC SERVICE." Tom Anderson and Thomas Anderson sitting two rows apart, same email address, like the data itself couldn't decide who this person was. Phone numbers rendered as "4055550143.0" because somewhere between the export and Excel, a computer made a decision nobody asked it to make.
I'd spend two, sometimes three hours fixing it. Every week. For months.
At some point I stopped asking why I kept doing it and started asking what it said about me that I did. The answer wasn't flattering. I was running a marketing agency. I was supposed to be solving this kind of problem for other people. And here I was, every Monday morning, manually correcting apostrophes in a spreadsheet like it was 2003.
So I built something. Called it ListLaunder. You drop in the messy file, tell it where it came from, click one button. Clean names. Normalized phones. Duplicates collapsed. Nothing uploaded anywhere — runs on your own machine.
It took a few weeks to build. It takes about three seconds to run.
I put it on Gumroad for $39 if anyone else has the same Monday morning problem.
I can't post a link here, but if your interested please leave a comment and I'll send the Gumroad link over!
Not here to pitch. Just figured if I was doing this every week, somebody else probably was too.
