I built a calisthenics RPG where your reps become XP and leaderboard progress
Hey everyone,
I’ve been building a small project called Reppy a free calisthenics web app with a bit of an RPG/social twist.
The basic idea is: you log real reps like push-ups, pull-ups, squats, dips, etc., and those reps turn into XP, coins, stats and leaderboard progress. So instead of only tracking workouts, you’re also kind of “leveling up” your character and competing with other people.
I’m testing a simple 7 Day Reppy Challenge this week and I’d really appreciate some honest feedback.
What I’m trying to validate is whether the social/competitive loop actually feels motivating, or if it’s just a nice idea on paper.
I’d especially love feedback on:
- Is the first session clear enough?
- Does the leaderboard make you want to improve?
- Would you invite a friend to compete with you?
- What feels confusing, unnecessary, or annoying?
Here’s the link:

Brutal feedback is welcome. I’m not trying to get compliments, I’m trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t.
