Need advice regarding upgrading my laptop

I have a lenovo v15 and it has been working perfectly since a few years. I use it for lectures mainly.
However ive recently started gaming and played the ezio trilogy and bioshock on it. Now im confused whether i should add 8gb of ram and 500gb ssd to this laptop or not? I think the bottleneck is the video ram thing. Can i somehow increase it?
