European focus?

I think that in an era where we talk about digital independence, a European company like reMarkable should also aim to offer integrations for independent platforms. Cloud integrations are currently only available for American services like Google Drive or Microsoft’s OneDrive. Similarly, the newly introduced meeting note feature is only compatible with Google or Outlook calendars.

To be honest, I find that pretty disappointing.

Where are the integrations for Nextcloud and other alternative European services?

Instead of buying an American or Chinese competitor, I -like many others- deliberately chose reMarkable, even though the feature set is significantly smaller and subscription fees apply here as well.

That’s why I also expect a stronger European focus.
