My instagram account was hacked over a year ago.

My Instagram was hacked in December 2024, the email was changed and I was logged out. Since then I have tried literally everything I have found on the internet about recovering it and nothing has worked.

The hackers added an authenticator that isn't mine and I dont have access to, so the only seemingly viable option is the video selfie verification. It has not worked a single time, and I've tried it at least 15 times.

I also just paid for Meta Verified premium so that I could talk to an actual human who I thought could help me, since there are about a billion ways I can actually prove it belongs to me; my name and birthday on the account match my drivers license - there are pictures of me and my friends on the account - the phone number connected is still mine, and I have the emails from 2024 saying that my account had a new login from an unknown device - the day it was hacked. Chatting didnt help anyway. They said that selfie verification was my only option, and when I asked if they could put me in contact with someone who could talk to me and review it manually, they sent me another useless link to the help website that just takes you to the same place over and over and does not work.

I have been using another account for a while now, I just want the old one back, I've had it since 2016. Does anyone know any methods that work or have worked for you? Please I have tried everything.
