PSA: There are 3,629 brands you cannot list on eBay. Most new sellers don't know this until it's too late πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

If you're new to eBay dropshipping in the UK, this could save your account.

eBay has a programme called VERO (Verified Rights Owner). Over 3,629 brands have registered with it. If you list ANY of their products without authorisation, eBay will:

β†’ Remove your listing immediately

β†’ Give you a strike on your account

β†’ Three strikes = permanent account suspension. No appeal, no second chance.

The scary part: most of these brands aren't obvious.

Everyone knows Nike and Apple are protected. But the VERO list also includes:

β†’ Crocs (yes, the shoes)

β†’ Dyson

β†’ Lego

β†’ Monster Energy

β†’ Many budget brands you'd find on AliExpress

I nearly lost my account in month 2 because I listed a product without checking. Got lucky with a warning. After that I started checking every single product manually before listing.

That was painful at 10 listings. Impossible at 100+.

So I built VERO checking into UnicornDS β€” the Chrome extension I created for eBay sellers. Every time you scrape a product from Amazon or AliExpress, it automatically checks the brand against the full 3,629 brand database before you list. If it's restricted, you see a red warning instantly.

Free plan available at unicornds.io

Has anyone else had a VERO strike? Would love to hear your experience β€” it's more common than people admit.
