post antibiotics still symptomatic
just finished 7 day 2x a day course of doxycycline, after a long 2.5 years of dealing with reoccurring BV, which finally after finding the right doctor who knew what tests to do found out I was positive for ureaplasma parvum, negative for everything else. My symptoms are mostly present if I’ve been sexually active, after having sex I have to deal with weeks of uncomfortableness, BV (and bad, TMI but there was multiple times I had to stop having sex with my ex because it would sting and my discharge would be foamy), this weird watery, milky discharge, sharp pains on my labia minora (thought I had cut myself shaving but no, it was that type of pain), and really odd smelling pee like I haven’t drank water in a month, if i haven’t been having sex all the same symptoms just less intense.
Now that I’ve finished though I was expecting them to go away but they are still there, I feel just exhausted atp because I’m scared to have a relationship with someone because this holds me back and I am never comfortable. I’ve read this can be common even after testing negative, it’s too soon for me to go and retest but if I am negative and the symptoms still persist I’m sorry but like wtaf do I do😭 What is the solution to that? Has anyone else experiences the same thing and managed to feel normal again and do normal things without having to worry about this? I hate this bacteria
