Tesla Files new Roadster trademarks after years of delays

Tesla has filed two new US trademarks for the Roadster, including a stylised “ROADSTER” word mark and a separate badge design, something Tesla rarely does for individual vehicles. A lot of people are seeing this as the clearest sign yet that the long delayed electric supercar may finally move towards launch.

Unveiled in 2017 and delayed for years, the real question is whether the Tesla Roadster will still feel groundbreaking in today’s fast-evolving EV market.
