We grew up together, forming a close friendship as we survived high school. I know on the surface we didn't really look like we would hang out that much. While you were a pretty girl who hung out with other similar types plus some athletes, I was more of a social weirdo. Just so far as I was into some nerdy stuff that weren't exactly mainstream in our small town. But since we lived in the same neighborhood and knew each other for years, we hung out a fair bit.

Did I have a crush on you? I mean, of course I did. But I wasn't dumb enough to try anything that might have ruined our friendship. However, there were a few times I thought I was picking up hints you might have been into me. Instances where we did flirt from time to time. Although I never picked up on those exchanges being genuine about your attraction to me. Regardless, we graduated, spent the summer together whenever we could. Then, we went off on our separate ways. I always thought we would reconnect during breaks or the summers, but one of us always had something going on that prevented us from seeing each other. We would text and call. But even that ended after a couple of years.

Flash forward to today. I've just turned 30 and I work as a private investigator. While maybe a touch overweight, I think I look all right for my age. Short cut black hair with matching facial hair, standing just under 6 feet tall with relatively tanned skin. Body hair on my arms, legs and chest. Financially, I was doing just fine. These days the cases that are brought to me kind of blend together. Spying on cheating spouses, finding runaway kids, that sort of thing. It's been a minute since I've been involved with anything that had violence associated with it. But then, lo and behold, this case was brought before me.

A wife came in saying she knows who killed her husband but needs help digging up proof. The man responsible is a paet of organized crime and has influenced over the cops, which is why they are no help. A classic high risk, high reward scenario. I decide to take it and begin investigating. Much to my surprise, that's how I crossed paths with you.

You...were different. Both physically and personality-wise. At least that's how it seemed. I didn't recognize you right away, keeping watch from a distance at first to see if that was really you. When I finally approached you face-to-face, there was no doubt you were the same person. The way you talked and interacted with me felt like we were back to being old friends. But clearly your life had a very different direction than what you planned. Somehow, you became involved with a criminal scene that connected you to the man I'm investigating. So as I work this case, I try to figure out how much I can trust you, while at the same time we finally explore our feelings for each other in way I've only fantasized about...

I have over a decade of online roleplaying experience. My writing style is first person perspective and my average response length is 1 to 2 paragraphs. It can be more depending on the scene. The main thing is I put in a consistent level of effort with every reply. I prioritize longterm scenarios that balance story, character alongside romance and plenty of hot sex scenes.
