iceland family trip

we are planning our family trip to iceland this july with four of us including kids ages eight and eleven. as a chubby family we want everything to feel comfortable and not too physical for any of us especially with the kids along.

i looked through lots of tour options and booked this one for the south coast day tour because it has easy access to waterfalls and black sand beaches with very little walking involved.

we are still figuring out the best transportation and what kind of clothes to pack for plus size bodies in that kind of weather. waterproof jackets and good shoes that fit well have been tricky to sort out.

has anyone gone to iceland as a chubby traveler with family? what tours or activities felt the most comfortable and what would you avoid next time?
